MBI Corporation has utilized the Design/Build process for several
office buildings. The Following projects are a few examples:

Knott
Laboratories (in Denver) - This was a collaborative effort
on the part of MBI and the Owner that addressed the Owners
concerns to preserve views from the site as well as to design
and build an energy efficient structure. |

Alpine
Family Care (located at The Centre for Advanced Technology in
Fort Collins) - This Design/Build medical offices project included
assisting the client with site selection as well as the design
of the building.

Highline
Motors (on South Mason in Fort Collins) - A unique style of
automobile showroom/office/shop property designed and built
to the Owner's specifications.

Drake
Tech Centre (located at Drake and Research in Fort Collins)
- Phase 1 of a three-phase office park designed and built
to create a productive and comfortable work environment with
micro climate control. State of the art- technology was used
to provide high-speed data and phone connectivity for maximum
efficiency. |

In
each of the above cases the Design/Build approach was taken in
order to provide the Owner with the best professional expertise
in establishing the design for the project, while closely monitoring
the project cost during the design and budgeting phases. By entering
into Design/Build agreements with the major subcontractors, allows
us to design systems which take into consideration both initial
and life,-cycle costs, This ensures that buildings are built for
efficient and economical long-term operating costs. An example
of this efficiency was the design for the HVAC system at The Drake
Tech Centre.
